I was so excited when MUA launched their new Matte Perfect line! I think I got a little bit over excited because now I (nearly) have the whole line.
The first item that I wanted to try out was the Matte Perfect Primer - this normally costs £4 but I got it for £2 in their latest offer. You can get yours from the MUA website here.
The primer comes in a small squeezy tube with a screw on cap and nozzle. You get 15 ml of product which is quite good considering the price and the tiny amount that you need to cover your whole face.
The primer has a light beige colour, and once applied it dries in a couple of seconds - leaving your face feeling silky soft.
This primer can be both worn alone or under a foundation: I found that it's no use to me if worn alone since I don't have perfect skin, so the use of foundation or bb cream is a must for me.
Mua state that:
"MUA Pro has now created a NEW primer designed to prime for perfection. Matte Perfect primer with is a targeted formula that controls oil and reduces shine so your makeup looks smooth, even, flawless. With its soft application it minimises the look of pores and flaws to create an even canvas and is ideal for Normal/Combination and Oily Skin"
What I have to say about this: I love it!
Why? First of all I love how it feels - so silky and smooth. You only need a pea sized amount for it to cover your whole face. It made my foundation last all day long, without any powder it and without turning oily.
I have yet to see how this works with eyeshadow though.

Ooh, this looks like the Porefessional from Benefit! I like that it's skin toned, the normal white goopy primers do nothing to improve my skin!
ReplyDeleteWould love to try Porefessional! Yeah same - the other primers that I had were all white and I hated them for it, but this I really like!
