They See Me Haulin', They Hatin' [Collective | Haul]

... and excuse the blog post title, but I just couldn't resist.

I've bought quite a number of things [mainly from New Look] these past few days, but truth be told I'm never really bothered to gather everything I've bought, take photos and blog about it.

...but I did decide to post about some of the things I bought [and which I'm loving] during this past week.

Boots from New Look [website] bought on sale for £12 - get yours from this link here - they still have some sizes available. They're super comfy and I love the colour!

I'm addicted to sweaters! These are both from the New Look website and were both on sale. 

Get the Coral one from this link here - I got it for £10. The multicoloured one is sold out though.

Wide Fit nude pumps with a mid heel. I love love love nudes for spring [and they really elongate your legs too!]. I bought mine from the New Look store in Malta for I think €18. These were not on sale but were really affordable.

I also had to buy a handbag to go with the nude pumps, so I chose this one here. It cost €30 / £24.99. I just love how it has patent and leather finishes and loads of pockets!

Also from New Look. I got this blue/black peplum top from New Look Malta and it cost me just €9 from the sales. It was the last one on the rail, so hooray for me! And actually this is the first peplum top that I have ever bought.

Black Zip Chain Clutch [also from the local store] I needed a black clutch bag and I fell for this one - mainly because of the rose gold chain and zip details. Plus I love cross body hand bags.

I've been testing these out for the past few days and I'm not so sure about them. The foundation has made me break out, the lipstick packaging is super flimsy and the mascara I don't know what my thoughts about it are as of yet.

I also got myself 3 new polishes from It Style, a new makeup store which has opened its doors lately. These were dirt cheap [2 of them on sale for €2, the other I think was €3.95]. Love the colours, but not the drying time. Tested out the dark purple one - waiting for it to dry for about 45 mins, used quick drying drops but still I have scuff marks alllll over the nails. Bah humbug.

Cute Retro E-Bay Handbag [Fashion] [Purchase]

Dear readers,

Since I haven't posted in a while [thanks goes to my end of semester exams] I thought of writing two posts today!

This one is about a handbag I bought from E-bay in May. It is this cute Retro looking handbag which I had been lusting over for the longest time ever!

It cost me just $10.99 (plus $5.99 shipping) and I got it from this seller here.

The handbag is a gorgeous beaten down brown colour [fake leather] and opens/closes with a retro style clasp - which is really secure.

To my utter surprise this handbag came with 2 different straps: a longer one so that you can carry it on your shoulders, and a shorter one so that you can carry the bag on your arms - how cool is that? You just attach whichever strap you want by using the loops/hooks.

Inside the bag you get 2 side pockets where you can put your mobile etc, and a side pocket with a zipper where you can put your keys, money etc.

Phase Eight Wedding Guest Outfit [Competition]

Dear readers,

Now that Spring is on its way we are heading to wedding season. Everyone knows how sometimes weddings can be a pain when you don't know what you're going to wear.

Well, fret no more!

If I had to choose a complete outfit from Phase Eight for a wedding, I would buy the following setup:

What I love about these items is how you can wear them together and look fabulous, but also wear them individually on other occasions, especially the dress, which can be dressed up or down and could also be worn for daytime or evening functions.

I also think that this style can be worn by both the younger and the more mature ladies alike because it is so versatile.

Morning Winter Wedding

Dear readers,

Today we attended a wedding of a client of mine (she looked gorgeous!).

When I received the invitation, I went into panic mode because:

1) I haven't been to a lot of morning weddings so didn't know what to wear
2) the morning weddings I had attended before were in Spring/Summer so I couldn't wear any of those dresses for this wedding.

As usual, I left it until the last day to go shopping for a dress (even though I wondered if I could grab myself a gorgeous dress on sale). I headed to New Look and I fell in love with an asymmetrical dress.

Truth be told, I've never been a fan of these types of dresses, and never thought that I would indeed have gotten one.

My problem is that I hate wearing short dresses for weddings, and I hate wearing long ones (I find them to be more appropriate for an evening wedding or summer morning wedding).

I love this dress because the shorter front part comes a bit higher up the knee, it fits really well, the colour is gorgeous, and it has some lace.

I paired the dress with a pearl bracelet and dangly earrings (both from New Look), and peep toe shoes. I curled my hair with tongs about an hour before the wedding but as you can clearly see from the photo, I was left with no curls at all after about 5 minutes of unpinning them :/

Which dress....?

Dear readers,

Yesterday I was introduced to AX Paris by a friend of mine (thanks Ruth!) and I must admit that they have some gorgeous clothes!

I had noticed some of these clothes a while back in some stores here in Malta, but I didn't know that they were from Ax (good to know now).

Which dress....?

Dear readers,

This is the time when you start doing some serious shopping....mainly for presents, but also for what to wear on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. With so many styles available, it is really easy to get lost in a sea of chiffon, lace, sequins, and yes, sequins.
