Let me start by saying that I rarely wax - I always resort to shaving because it is faster than waxing, but there are some places that I always wax and not shave.
For example, I always use the Veet Easy Grip Ready-to-use Wax Strips (the Shea butter and berry fragrance ones) to wax my arms since I'm wary of shaving them because prickly arms aren't my cup of tea ^.^
In the box, you get 20 wax strips and 4 perfect finish wipes. To wax my whole arms I always use the whole lot of wax strips, but I only ever use 1 wipe on both arms because I hate the oily feeling you get with the wipes.
The wax is really easy to use - and since Veet changed the strips to the more user friendly 'easy grip' ones, it is easier to pull off the wax strips than it was before.
To use, you simply rub the wax strips between your hands to warm them up, then carefully peel the strips apart. Apply the wax wherever you want, rub slowly and then pull in the opposite direction of the hair growth. The quicker you pull, the more effective the wax is.
You can use these wax strips on your legs, arms. underarms and bikini line but you can't use them on your face, breasts, genital area and other body parts.
My skin always feels really smooth once I'm done waxing, and I only need to wax about once a month max (or sometimes more than a month).
The only problem I have ever had with these wax strips is in Summer because the wax tends to melt in higher temperatures. But I normally just pop them in the freezer for a couple of minutes before I use them as I would normally.
Do you wax or shave?
