During the past couple of months, I got into the habit of wearing red lipstick, and so I usually keep the eye makeup to a bare minimum.
I love smokey eyes for night time, so I thought of making up a quick tutorial for you all! I am no expert, but I love make-up <3
Step 1:
- Prime eyelids using an eye shadow primer
- Cover your eyelids up to the crease with a soft black pencil
Step 2:
- Take a piece of tape and stick it beneath your lower lashes, following your natural eyeshape
- Using a small blending brush or your fingers, blend the black eyeliner
Step 3:
- Use a glittery silver shadow on the inner part of your eyelid and a matte black eye shadow on the outer part and blend well. This will help set the black base making it last longer.
- Remove the tape and clean off any fall outs with a wet or make-up wipe. (This is the reason that I do not apply any foundations/concealers when I'm doing a dark eye).
- Line your bottom lashes with the black kohl eyeliner, and blend.
- Line your water line with the black liner and also tightline your upper lashes.
- Line your top lashes with a liquid eyeliner
- Put mascara on your top and bottom lashes.
- Put on some fake lashes (if you don't want to use any it's ok - what I normally do is I use one lash and cut it in half with a pair of scissors and only use 1/2 per eye)
Step 4:
- Put on a foundation, concealer and powder of your choice.
- Use bronzer on cheekbones, temples and on the sides of your nose
- Fill in your eyebrows
- Put on some clear or nude lipgloss
- ...and you're done!
