Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream [Review]

Dear readers,

Missha was a brand that although I'd seen it for sale in my country, I've never been tempted to try it out. About a month ago or so there were a couple of lovely ladies who told me that I should try it out, and I did.

The Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream comes in two sizes: 20ml and 50ml. I went for the smaller size because I wanted to try it out first before committing to buy the full size.

I bought mine from Cosmetic Love for Euro 6.09 (the 50ml one is Euro 11.62) but I also found cheaper ones from ebay here for around Euro 5.20.

The bb cream comes in a professional looking box, and the bb cream itself is a standard plastic tube shape with a screw on top and nozzle. You can choose from #21 Light Beige and #23 Natural Beige - I went with the natural beige which is a good match for my skin tone.

It has an SPF 42 which is an abnormally high factor for BB creams (the ones I tried, anyways) - this will come really handy during the hot, Summer days. This also has skin whitening and anti wrinkles properties - which makes it a good buy for the younger and more mature ladies alike.

You can use this by itself or as a makeup base too.

I have been using this for the past 2/3 weeks or so now, and I do think that it is quite a good buy. The pigmentation in it is unlike any other bb cream that I have ever tried (especially Western ones) - this corrects my skin tone incredibly well and hides minor blemishes.

I do find that like some other bb creams, it does have a greyish tinge to it, but it settles down once you blend it in and fix it with powder.

With regard to staying power, this stays on for about 6-8 hours if I fix it with loose powder. It does turn a bit oily after about 4 hours of use even with a mattifying powder on top.

Having said that, I think that I definitely will re-purchase this BB cream, especially for Summer time near the beach etc.

Love,

Lorraine
