MUA Cover and Conceal [Review]

Dear readers,

The Cover and Conceal concealer is one of the latest additions to the MUA family.

It costs just £1.50 and is available in three shades: fair, natural, almond. You can get it on the MUA website here

The concealer comes in a standard plastic tube with a doe foot applicator, and you get 7.5ml of product.

What MUA say about this product:

"Lightweight cover-up for imperfections with a smooth flawless finish. Conceal imperfections, under-eye circles, spots on the face with this concealer wand. The creamy lightweight texture which blends in to create that flawless finish with a natural coverage that lasts all day."

The texture is really creamy and is really blendable. I normally apply this using the wand and then blend with my ring finger.

It offers medium coverage and can be used on your under eye areas and other imperfections. Most importantly, this does not settle into my crease lines (although I do set it with powder because I have oily/combination skin).

Although I'm not sure I would repurchase this because I prefer their pro-base palette to this, it is quite a steal at just £1.50.

  3. He hun, it is a nice concealer ey, I've got this one since Saturday, and works really well. Why do you prefer the conceal kit over the wand? Maybe I'll switch for any future order (that I promised myself I wouldn't do in the near future haha)

    1. Hi swty. I think I prefer the palette because it has 2 different colour concealers - the more salmony one works wonders on my under eyes and you can mix both of them together too. It is also creamier and more long lasting I think, too. I don't know if you've seen it but I have a review for that one too.

  4. I like the photo of with and without the concealer and I can see it makes a difference, which is good. ALthough I have a lot of MUA i don't have any of their concealers as i have a few in stock that i like. but like you say for $1.50 it's a steal and next time i order i may get one to just leave in the bottom of my handbag.

  5. Interesting, I have it also and I find it to be rubbish. It settles into my lines even if I powder and it's too liquidy and it doesn't cover anything. But I'm glad to hear that it's working for you :)

    1. that's too bad :( it isn't the best concealer around, but it's cheap so might be an option for people who can't afford more expensive concealers. Mine doesn't settle in my crease lines - but I do use a primer. Have you tried using one underneath?
